Overview

UAE Corporate Tax Services Handled by a Registered UAE Tax Consultant

Corporate tax is now a legal reality for every UAE business. The rate is 9% on taxable profits above AED 375,000 and 0% below that threshold. Every company must register with the UAE, file a return within nine months of its financial year end, and keep records that support the numbers. With the second filing cycle now underway, the UAE expects businesses to get it right.

Al Burhan provides complete corporate tax services in the UAE: registration, return preparation and filing, Small Business Relief and free zone assessments, transfer pricing documentation and year-round tax planning for mainland companies, free zone entities and groups.

As a registered UAE tax consultant, we can represent your business directly before the Federal Tax Authority. Combined with 45+ years of chartered accountancy experience, your corporate tax is handled properly, for a fixed fee you agree before we start.

Expert CA Guidance

Work directly with a qualified Chartered Accountant who understands UAE corporate tax law in depth.

— UAE Legal Requirement

Is Corporate Tax Registration Mandatory in the UAE?

Yes. Corporate tax applies across the UAE under Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022. As a taxable person, your business must:

The Penalty Risk

Missing corporate tax obligations is costly. The UAE issues administrative penalties automatically, and they grow the longer an issue stands.

Late registration: AED 10,000. Late filing: AED 500 per month for the first 12 months, then AED 1,000 per month. Incorrect returns and unpaid tax attract further penalties on top.

Al Burhan keeps your registration, records and returns to the UAE's own standard. As a registered tax consultant, we can also deal with the Authority on your behalf.

— FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about corporate tax services for UAE businesses.

What is the UAE corporate tax rate?

The standard rate is 9% on taxable profits above AED 375,000. Profits below that threshold are taxed at 0%. Qualifying Free Zone Persons can pay 0% on qualifying income, and large multinationals within the Pillar Two rules face a 15% minimum. We confirm exactly which rate applies to your business.

Every business operating in the UAE must register, including mainland companies, free zone entities and individuals whose business turnover exceeds AED 1 million per year. Registration is required even if you expect to pay 0%. We handle the full registration on EmaraTax.

Your return must be filed, and any tax paid, within nine months of your financial year end. A business with a December year end must file by the end of the following September. We track and meet every deadline on your behalf.

Free zone companies must register and file like everyone else. A Qualifying Free Zone Person can pay 0% on qualifying income if strict conditions are met, while other income is taxed at 9%. We assess your eligibility and help you keep the qualifying status.

Small Business Relief lets eligible businesses with revenue up to AED 3 million elect to be treated as having no taxable income for the period, subject to conditions and time limits. We assess your eligibility and make the election where it benefits you.

Late registration carries a penalty of AED 10,000. Late filing costs AED 500 per month for the first 12 months and AED 1,000 per month after that, with further penalties for unpaid tax and incorrect returns. Our clients never face these because every deadline is tracked.

You must keep financial statements, ledgers and supporting documents that evidence your return for at least seven years, in a form the FTA can verify. Our bookkeeping service keeps your records at that standard automatically.

Transfer pricing rules require transactions with related parties and connected persons, such as group companies or owners, to be priced at arm's length. Many SMEs are affected through owner salaries, loans and intercompany charges. We prepare the documentation and disclosures you need.

Yes. We regularise your position, request penalty reconsiderations or waivers where grounds exist, and bring your filings up to date. The sooner it is addressed, the lower the cost.

Fees depend on your size and complexity. Al Burhan quotes a transparent fixed fee upfront: one-off fees for registration or annual filing, or a monthly fee that combines corporate tax with your bookkeeping. Contact us for an exact quote.
